# AudioInputClock

URL: https://www.caprid.com/docs/reference/typescript/caprid/moq-media/interfaces/audioinputclock/

Defined in: [audio-player.ts:78](https://github.com/caprids/relay-sdks/blob/main/ts/packages/moq-media/src/audio-player.ts#L78)

What an input calls on its clock. A `PlayoutClock` qualifies; so does a player's own clock, such as one that holds
its position while the buffer is dry.

## Properties

### targetLatencyUs

```ts
readonly targetLatencyUs: number;
```

Defined in: [audio-player.ts:80](https://github.com/caprids/relay-sdks/blob/main/ts/packages/moq-media/src/audio-player.ts#L80)

Caps the jitter buffer: it holds no more than this less the output delay and 40 ms.

## Methods

### localNow()

```ts
localNow(): number;
```

Defined in: [audio-player.ts:82](https://github.com/caprids/relay-sdks/blob/main/ts/packages/moq-media/src/audio-player.ts#L82)

The time source reports are measured on, in microseconds.

#### Returns

`number`

### reportAudio()

```ts
reportAudio(
   timestampUs,
   atUs,
   stats
): void;
```

Defined in: [audio-player.ts:88](https://github.com/caprids/relay-sdks/blob/main/ts/packages/moq-media/src/audio-player.ts#L88)

The audio with this timeline timestamp is audible at local time `atUs`. `stats` are the input's, refreshed with
this report: a newer `playStarts` says the audio is from after the buffer last ran dry, not the tail before it.
The object is updated in place by later reports, so copy what you keep.

#### Parameters

| Parameter | Type |
| ------ | ------ |
| `timestampUs` | `number` |
| `atUs` | `number` |
| `stats` | `Readonly`\<[`AudioInputStats`](https://www.caprid.com/docs/reference/typescript/caprid/moq-media/interfaces/audioinputstats/)\> |

#### Returns

`void`

### stopAudio()

```ts
stopAudio(): void;
```

Defined in: [audio-player.ts:90](https://github.com/caprids/relay-sdks/blob/main/ts/packages/moq-media/src/audio-player.ts#L90)

The input was removed.

#### Returns

`void`
