# FrameGrouping

How a [FrameWriter](https://www.caprid.com/docs/reference/typescript/caprid/relay/media/interfaces/framewriter/) maps frames onto groups. `'keyframe'` is the LOC mapping for video: a keyframe FINs the
open group and opens a new one, deltas append to it. `'frame'` sends every frame as its own single-object group, the
mapping for audio and any other independently decodable frames.
